Chocolate Dipped Oreos

Milk’s favorite cookie is also one of our desserts of choice. It’s tasty as is, but even more mind-blowing dipped in melted chocolate or candy melts. It’s also super easy to match these delicious cookies to any theme, décor or color scheme. As a personal preference, I love how it softens the cookie.

We love dipping the Oreos in melted milk chocolate chips or white chocolate chips. This is because it gives it a more natural flavor. However, to match the color scheme it is easier to use candy melts. Do note that it is possible to use white chocolate and add food coloring. If using candy melts, you will need heavy whipping cream, white chocolate morsels, and whatever color candy melts.

Decorating the chocolate dipped Oreo is easy, and you have options. You could add sprinkles, pipe on melted chocolate, or add toppings like chopped nuts. You can even add edible googly eyes to give it personality.

For the Fourth of July, we dipped them red, white and blue. Festive yet delicious. See below for the delicious recipe!

  • 1 Pack of Oreos

  • 1 Cup of Candy Melts

  • Decorate with sprinkles, chocolate drizzle or chopped nuts.
  • Put them in the refrigerator to cool.
