The Host’s Journey: Embracing My Multicultural Background and Picky Eater Syndrome

Growing up in Japan within an Indian household, my culinary options naturally leaned towards vegetarian dishes. Being a picky eater added to the complexity of the situation. As a carnivore, I often preferred simple items like cheeseburgers and chicken katsu. However, it wasn’t until I moved out that I truly grasped the art of cooking and developed a profound understanding of ingredients. This newfound knowledge transformed my perception of certain foods; for instance, the once-dreaded onions became more palatable.
