Let’s be honest, breakfast anytime of day is delicious. Sunday Brunch is the only one day that you truly get to enjoy it. We loved getting up and getting ready to go for brunch. What we come to realize is that we love the idea of food, the bottomless drinks and the company. So why not host our own brunch at home? That’s what we started to do.
We believe the taste of the food is better, and the prices are way lower. Skip having to get fully dressed and awake before having coffee. I mean how do you function with out caffeine? No more. Skip the hour long wait. Skip the ridiculous prices and rushed service. Now we just love hosting our own Sunday Brunch. Whether its just our family or invite close friends and extended family. Make it relaxing, make it an event, either way here are some suggestions.
A Sunday Brunch is best served with both savory and sweet. Our favorite savory dishes include Bagel Breakfast Sandwiches, Omelets, and Breakfast Burritos. As for sweet dishes try Pancakes, Waffles or Brioche French Toast. Don’t forget the sides, hashbrown patties, bacon or sausage.
The most common bottomless beverage is the mimosa. A flute of champagne with a splash of orange juice. While this is easy and quick go to drink, try changing things up with a different juice. Perhaps try champagne and peach juice to make a Peach Bellini. Or try champagne and Passionfruit juice? Make a mimosa bar, offer the champagne and a choice of a couple different juices. For the kids, try Martinelli and juice, create a similar bubbly sensation without the alcohol.
Other options that are great for brunch include a pitcher of Sangria or an Espresso Martini. Either which way, hosting a Sunday Brunch at home is easy and more enjoyable.
